Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay is a large luxury beachfront resort located on Fiji’s western coast, near Nadi and the international airport. It is part of Marriott International, one of the world’s leading hospitality companies, operating a broad portfolio of hotels and resorts globally. The resort offers guest rooms, overwater accommodation, restaurants and bars, conference facilities, a spa, pools and activities focused on leisure and business travel. Its finance department supports a complex operation involving accommodation, food and beverage, events, procurement, payroll and inventory. Employees typically work in a multicultural environment and may receive hospitality-related benefits, meals, transport assistance or accommodation arrangements, depending on the position and employment package. Working at the resort provides experience with an internationally recognised brand while living in a popular South Pacific destination.
Fiji offers employment opportunities in resorts, hotels, restaurants, tourism, construction, retail, finance, healthcare and education. Many international hospitality jobs are concentrated around Nadi, Denarau, Coral Coast and Suva. Fijian culture is welcoming and community-focused, with strong traditions of family, village life, music, church and kava ceremonies. Lifestyle is generally relaxed, with warm weather, beaches, diving, hiking and boating available, although imported goods can be expensive and remote areas have fewer services. Most overseas employees need an employer-sponsored work permit before starting employment; requirements commonly include a valid passport, employment contract, qualifications and health or police documentation. Confirm current rules with Fiji Immigration and the employer. Relocation usually involves arranging accommodation, banking, tax registration, transport and medical insurance. Nadi is convenient for resort workers, while Suva offers a more urban environment and broader professional services.
