About the employer

SATS Ltd is a Singapore-headquartered provider of food solutions and gateway services. The company supports airlines, airports, hospitality businesses, institutions and other customers through services such as in-flight catering, food manufacturing, logistics, ramp handling, passenger services and aviation security. SATS operates across Singapore and international markets, connecting people and businesses through its aviation and food-service networks. Its work involves large operational teams, strict safety and quality standards, diverse customers and close coordination across multiple locations. As a major employer in Singapore, SATS offers careers spanning operations, engineering, culinary services, finance, technology, commercial functions and human resources. The organisation places emphasis on service quality, operational excellence, innovation, teamwork and responsible business practices. This HR business partner role would support the corporate functions that help the wider group achieve its people and business objectives.

Working in Singapore

Singapore is a compact, highly connected island city with opportunities in aviation, logistics, finance, technology, healthcare, hospitality and professional services. English is widely used at work, while Mandarin, Malay and Tamil are also official languages. The culture is multicultural and generally professional, efficient and respectful, although workplaces can be fast-paced and hierarchical. Lifestyle options range from hawker centres and shopping districts to beaches, parks, museums and a lively arts scene. Public transport is reliable, and most areas are easy to reach without a car. Foreign professionals normally need an employer-sponsored work pass, such as an Employment Pass or S Pass; eligibility depends on salary, qualifications and current government criteria. Relocation costs and rent can be high, particularly in central districts, so budgeting is important. New arrivals should arrange accommodation, healthcare coverage, banking and tax registration, while families should research schools and dependent-pass requirements.
