Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay is a luxury beachfront resort located on Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu, near Nadi and the international airport. The property is part of Marriott International, one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, with a broad portfolio of hotels and resorts across global markets. The resort offers accommodation, restaurants and bars, conference and event facilities, spa services, recreation activities and extensive landscaped grounds surrounding a lagoon-style setting. Its employees work in an international hospitality environment focused on guest service, safety, teamwork and professional standards. Depending on the position, employment may include staff meals, uniforms, accommodation or other resort benefits, although applicants should confirm the exact package directly with the employer. Marriott commonly provides training and opportunities for career development within its hotel network.
Fiji’s main employment opportunities are concentrated in tourism, hotels, restaurants, construction, transport, agriculture, retail, healthcare and education. Viti Levu, particularly Nadi, Denarau, Lautoka and Suva, offers the widest range of jobs; resort roles are also available on Vanua Levu and smaller islands. Fijian culture is welcoming and community-oriented, with strong iTaukei traditions, Indian-Fijian influence, church communities, shared meals and the popular concept of bula hospitality. Lifestyle is relaxed, warm and outdoors-focused, with beaches, snorkeling, villages, markets and island excursions, although imported goods and accommodation can be expensive. Foreign workers generally need an employer-sponsored work permit before starting employment. The employer normally supports the application, while the candidate must provide documents such as a passport, qualifications, medical checks and police clearances. Confirm visa rules, accommodation, transport and benefits before relocating.
