Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay is a luxury beachfront resort operated under the Marriott International brand and located on Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu. Set beside a private lagoon near Nadi, the resort offers accommodation, restaurants, swimming pools, spa facilities, recreation activities and event spaces for international leisure and business guests. Marriott International is one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, managing and franchising a broad portfolio of hotels and resorts across many global brands. The Fiji property focuses on warm Fijian hospitality combined with international service standards. Employees typically work in a multicultural environment and may receive benefits such as staff meals, accommodation arrangements, training, career development and access to Marriott’s global employment opportunities, depending on the position and contract.
Fiji offers hospitality, tourism, marine recreation, food and beverage, housekeeping, engineering and retail opportunities, particularly around Nadi, Denarau, Suva and the Coral Coast. Fijian culture places strong importance on family, respect, community and welcoming visitors. English is widely used, while iTaukei and Fiji Hindi are also common. Life is generally relaxed, with warm weather, beaches, village events, markets and outdoor activities, although imported goods and housing near resort areas can be expensive. Foreign workers normally need an employer-sponsored work permit before starting employment; requirements vary by nationality and role, so approval should be confirmed with the employer and Fiji immigration authorities. Relocating staff should check accommodation, transport, medical coverage, meals, flight arrangements and contract conditions. Resorts may provide staff housing and meals, but shifts can include weekends and public holidays.
