Its corporate functions, including property, engineering, security and workplace services, support the safe and efficient operation of offices and banking infrastructure. Working in Singapore

Singapore is a compact, highly connected island city with strong opportunities in banking, technology, engineering, sustainability, property, healthcare, logistics and professional services. English is widely used at work, while Mandarin, Malay and Tamil are also official languages. The culture is multicultural, orderly and fast-paced, with emphasis on reliability, performance and respect for regulations. Public transport is excellent, healthcare is high quality and daily life is convenient, although housing and childcare can be expensive. Popular lifestyle options include hawker centres, shopping districts, parks, coastal areas and nearby regional travel. Foreign professionals generally need an employment pass sponsored by their employer; eligibility depends on salary, qualifications, experience and Singapore’s assessment criteria. Employers usually assist with applications and relocation arrangements. New arrivals should budget carefully for rent, deposits, transport and healthcare, and check current immigration requirements before accepting an offer.
