EY, formerly Ernst & Young, is a global professional services organization providing assurance, consulting, strategy, tax and transaction services. Its teams help businesses, governments and institutions address financial, operational, technological and regulatory challenges. EY operates in more than 150 countries and combines industry knowledge with expertise in areas such as digital transformation, cybersecurity, data, enterprise systems and sustainability. In Cyprus, EY serves local and international clients across sectors including financial services, shipping, tourism, real estate and technology. The company generally offers structured professional development, access to international projects and opportunities to work with experienced specialists. A SAP FI Consultant at EY would typically join its consulting practice, supporting clients with finance-system transformation, process improvement and SAP implementation or support engagements.
Cyprus offers opportunities in professional services, banking, accounting, technology, shipping, tourism, renewable energy and shared-service operations. Nicosia is the main business and government centre, while Limassol has a strong international business and shipping community; Larnaca and Paphos are popular coastal locations. The culture combines Greek, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences, with relaxed social life, outdoor dining and many annual festivals. Summers are hot and dry, and the island offers beaches, mountains and a generally accessible lifestyle. EU and EEA citizens can work without a visa, although registration may be required. Non-EU professionals normally need an employer-sponsored work and residence permit, with eligibility depending on the role and immigration rules. Relocating employees should budget for housing, healthcare, transport and private schooling where relevant. English is widely used in business, while Greek is valuable for daily life.
