The Westin Fiji Golf Resort & Spa is a luxury beachfront resort on Denarau Island, operated under Marriott International’s Westin brand. The resort focuses on wellbeing, relaxation and active leisure, offering accommodation, restaurants, spa services, swimming pools, recreational facilities and access to golf and marine activities. Its engineering team supports guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, plant rooms, utilities and resort infrastructure, helping maintain high standards of safety, comfort and reliability. Marriott International is one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, with a broad portfolio of hotels and resorts across many countries. Employees typically work in a multicultural environment and may receive hospitality training, staff benefits and opportunities for career development, subject to local employment conditions and the specific offer.
Fiji offers employment opportunities in tourism, hotels, engineering, construction, marine services, healthcare, education and business support. Denarau Island and Nadi are major hospitality hubs, while Suva provides more corporate and government-related work. Fijian culture is welcoming and community-oriented, with strong traditions of family, village life, music, church and shared meals. Lifestyle highlights include warm weather, beaches, diving, boating and outdoor activities, although imported goods and accommodation can be expensive. Foreign nationals normally need an approved employment contract and work permit before starting work; the employer commonly supports the application, but requirements should be confirmed with Fiji Immigration. Relocating workers should arrange certified qualifications, police clearances, medical documents, accommodation and health insurance in advance. Nadi International Airport provides convenient access, and Denarau is close to shopping, transport and resort services.
