Employees typically work in a multicultural environment with opportunities to develop careers across front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, finance, events, and guest services. Destination Guide

Fiji offers employment opportunities mainly in tourism, hotels, restaurants, transport, marine activities, construction, healthcare, education, and professional services. Viti Levu, especially Nadi, Denarau, Lautoka, and Suva, has the broadest job market, while smaller islands provide resort-based work. Fijian culture is welcoming and community-oriented, with iTaukei traditions, Indian-Fijian heritage, music, church life, village customs, and the principle of vanua playing important roles. Island living can be relaxed and scenic, but imported goods, housing, transport, and utilities may cost more than expected. International applicants generally need a valid job offer and an employer-supported work permit before working legally; requirements vary by nationality and role. Candidates should confirm visa rules with Fiji Immigration and clarify accommodation, flights, taxes, medical checks, and contract terms before relocating. Nadi and nearby resort areas offer beaches and activities, while Suva provides more urban services and institutions.
