This internship supports OCBC’s Global Markets business through management information systems, reporting, data analysis and business performance tracking. Typical responsibilities may include preparing regular reports, validating data, improving reporting processes, coordinating with stakeholders and helping develop dashboards or management presentations. Candidates are generally expected to be pursuing a degree in business, finance, economics, information systems, computer science, mathematics or a related discipline. Strong Excel and analytical skills are important; experience with SQL, Python, VBA, Tableau or Power BI may be advantageous. The successful candidate should be organised, detail-oriented, numerate and comfortable working with confidential information in a fast-paced banking environment. Clear communication, teamwork, initiative and an interest in financial markets are also valued.
