This internship supports OCBC’s Global Markets Research team in credit research. Responsibilities may include analysing companies, industries and credit fundamentals; reviewing financial statements and market developments; assisting with research reports, presentations and investment views; and monitoring bond and credit-market activity. Candidates are typically expected to be pursuing a degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, mathematics or a related discipline, with strong academic performance and genuine interest in fixed income and credit markets. Good analytical, research, writing and communication skills are important, along with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. The candidate should be detail-oriented, curious, commercially aware and able to work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced banking environment.
