Company Info

OCBC Bank is a major Southeast Asian financial institution headquartered in Singapore. Founded in 1932, it provides consumer, corporate, commercial and private banking, wealth management, insurance and investment services across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Greater China and other markets. OCBC serves individuals, small businesses, multinational companies and institutional clients through branches, relationship teams and digital platforms. The bank is recognised for its strong regional franchise and continued investment in technology, data, cybersecurity and digital customer experiences. This position sits within the technology and project delivery ecosystem, supporting banking channels that help customers access services through assisted, rather than purely self-service, interactions.

Destination Guide

Singapore is a compact, highly connected island with strong opportunities in banking, fintech, technology, cybersecurity, consulting, healthcare, logistics and regional headquarters functions. The work culture is generally professional, fast-paced and multicultural, with emphasis on reliability, teamwork and performance. Daily life is convenient: public transport is efficient, healthcare is well developed, food options are diverse, and neighbourhoods range from lively central districts to quieter residential areas. Housing is relatively expensive, particularly near the city centre, while public transport makes car ownership unnecessary for many residents. Foreign professionals normally need an employer-sponsored work pass, such as an Employment Pass or S Pass, with eligibility depending on salary, qualifications and current government criteria. Employers usually guide applicants through the application process. New arrivals should budget for rent, deposits, insurance and relocation costs, and confirm tax, pass and employment conditions before moving.
