This role supports research on cathode materials for advanced batteries, including experimental design, material synthesis, electrochemical testing, data analysis, technical reporting and publication preparation. Candidates are generally expected to hold a relevant degree in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, electrochemistry or a related discipline. Experience with lithium-ion batteries, cathode development, solid-state materials, laboratory instrumentation and research documentation is advantageous. The successful candidate should be capable of working independently and collaboratively, maintaining accurate laboratory records, analysing results critically and meeting project milestones. Strong communication skills, attention to safety and the ability to present findings to supervisors, collaborators and conferences will also be expected.
