Research Fellow (Photonic Integration)

Job Description

The Research Fellow will conduct advanced research in photonic integration, likely involving silicon photonics, optical devices, fabrication processes, simulation, testing, and experimental characterization. Candidates are generally expected to hold a PhD in photonics, electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or a closely related field, with relevant research experience. Experience with photonic integrated circuits, optical measurements, semiconductor fabrication, numerical modelling, or laboratory equipment is advantageous. The successful candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively, analyse research data, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, present results at conferences, support grant or project objectives, and contribute to the supervision or mentoring of junior researchers and students.
