Job Description

The Director, Industry is expected to lead and expand relationships between the university and industry partners, developing strategic collaborations, research partnerships, innovation programmes, sponsorships and other external engagements. Candidates typically need a strong track record in industry development, business partnerships, technology commercialisation, corporate relations or a related field, together with substantial management experience. Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential. The successful candidate should understand the higher-education and business environment, identify opportunities for collaboration, secure long-term partnerships and represent the university confidently with senior corporate, government and academic stakeholders.
