The Research Fellow will investigate integrated polaritonic devices, combining photonics, nanotechnology, materials science and optical physics. Typical requirements include a PhD in physics, electrical or electronic engineering, materials science, photonics or a related discipline; research experience in nanofabrication, spectroscopy, optical measurements, polariton systems or semiconductor devices; and a strong record of technical publications. Experience with cleanroom processing, computational modelling, experimental data analysis and programming is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to plan and conduct independent experiments, analyse results, prepare papers and reports, present findings, collaborate with researchers and contribute to grant-related activities. Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving and teamwork skills are important.
