The Research Fellow will conduct advanced research on power-system stability, potentially involving renewable-energy integration, dynamic modelling, simulation, control methods and grid resilience. Candidates are generally expected to hold a PhD in electrical engineering, power systems or a closely related discipline, with strong knowledge of power-system analysis and research methods. Experience with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory or PSS®E is advantageous. The role requires the ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals, analyse technical results, prepare reports, collaborate with academic and industry partners, and contribute independently to project milestones. Strong communication, programming, analytical and academic writing skills are expected.
