Job Description

The Project Officer will support laboratory research in organic synthesis, including planning and carrying out experiments, preparing and purifying chemical compounds, analysing results, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with research reports or publications. Candidates would typically need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, chemical science, or a related discipline, with practical experience in organic synthesis and techniques such as chromatography, NMR, or mass spectrometry. Knowledge of laboratory safety, chemical handling, and research documentation is expected. The successful candidate should be methodical, safety-conscious, capable of working independently, and comfortable collaborating with academic researchers and students.
