Research Scientist / Fellow (Fibre Optics)

Job Description

The role involves conducting research and development in fibre optics, photonics, optical communications, or a related engineering field. Candidates would generally be expected to hold a PhD or relevant postgraduate qualification, with strong knowledge of fibre-optic systems, optical measurements, experimental methods, and data analysis. Experience with laboratory equipment, programming, simulation tools, or research publications would be advantageous. The successful candidate should be capable of planning and carrying out experiments independently, analysing results, preparing technical reports and papers, and contributing to grant or project objectives.
