The Head of Finance is expected to lead financial planning, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, controls and commercial analysis for DHL’s Irish operations. Requirements typically include a recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA, substantial senior finance experience, strong knowledge of financial controls and reporting, and experience leading teams in a complex, international organisation. The successful candidate should be commercially minded, analytical and confident presenting financial information to senior stakeholders. Strong communication, leadership, business-partnering and process-improvement skills are important, along with proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel. Experience in logistics, transport, supply chain or another high-volume operational environment would be advantageous.
