The Night Auditor supports overnight hotel operations by completing daily financial audits, reconciling revenue, processing payments, preparing reports and ensuring accurate financial records. The role also handles late check-ins, guest requests, reservations, telephone enquiries and emergency procedures during the night. Candidates should have hotel front-office or night-audit experience, strong numerical and administrative skills, attention to detail and confidence using property-management systems. Fluency in English is normally required; Spanish and other languages are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to work independently, remain calm and professional, protect guest confidentiality, maintain excellent service standards and communicate clearly with the morning team. Flexibility for overnight, weekend and holiday shifts is essential.

Usual for the Balearic Islands, varies by employer. Checked November 2026.
Senior staff often get more than line staff, for example a single room or a yearly home flight. Ask the employer what the job includes before you accept.
How it works: Local-first test (hotel jobs are not on the shortage list), or a seasonal permit that comes with employer housing.
Never pay anyone for a visa or a job offer. A real employer pays the permit costs and never asks you for money.
Official source: Spanish Ministry of Inclusion: residence and work permit for employees. Checked November 2026.
