This role involves designing, developing, configuring and supporting Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions for clients across the UK and Ireland. Candidates should have practical experience with Oracle EPM Cloud or related products such as Planning, Financial Consolidation, Account Reconciliation or Enterprise Data Management, together with knowledge of finance processes, reporting and systems integration. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently and with client teams. At Senior Consultant or Assistant Manager level, EY expects candidates to manage workstreams, contribute to proposals, mentor junior colleagues and deliver high-quality solutions within agreed deadlines. Relevant Oracle certifications and consulting experience would be advantageous.
EY, formerly Ernst & Young, is a global professional services organisation providing assurance, consulting, strategy and transactions, tax, and technology services. Its teams work with public and private-sector organisations on business transformation, digital platforms, risk management, finance improvement and regulatory challenges. EY operates across Ireland, including Dublin, Cork, Galway and Belfast, and supports clients ranging from growing businesses to multinational corporations and government bodies. The Technology Consulting practice helps organisations modernise technology, improve finance and performance management, implement enterprise platforms and use data more effectively. EY offers structured career development, professional training, international collaboration and opportunities to work with senior client stakeholders. In this Oracle EPM position, the successful candidate would join a consulting environment focused on delivering practical finance technology solutions while building both technical and advisory expertise.
Ireland offers strong opportunities in technology consulting, software, financial services, pharmaceuticals, medtech, accounting and multinational operations, especially around Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick. Work culture is generally collaborative and informal, although consulting roles can involve demanding client deadlines and occasional travel. The lifestyle combines lively towns, historic sites, outdoor activities and easy access to the coast and countryside. Dublin has the broadest job market but also the highest rents; Cork and Galway can offer a more relaxed and sometimes cheaper alternative. EU, EEA and Swiss citizens can work without an employment permit. Non-EEA applicants normally need an employment permit, commonly a Critical Skills Employment Permit for eligible specialist roles, followed by immigration registration. A job offer, suitable qualifications, salary meeting the applicable threshold and private or employer-supported arrangements may be required. Northern Ireland is part of the UK and has separate visa and employment rules.
