The role typically requires strong experience designing, implementing and integrating Oracle Enterprise Performance Management solutions, including Planning, Financial Consolidation, Account Reconciliation or related platforms. Candidates should understand finance transformation, enterprise architecture, cloud technologies and business processes, while demonstrating excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. The successful candidate will shape solution strategy, oversee delivery, support business development, manage senior client relationships and coach consulting teams. EY, formerly Ernst & Young, is one of the world's largest professional services organisations and a member of the global Big Four. It provides assurance, tax, strategy and transactions, and consulting services to businesses, governments and public-sector organisations. EY's Technology Consulting practice helps clients modernise finance, data, technology and operating models through platforms such as Oracle, SAP and Microsoft. In Ireland, EY has major operations in Dublin and other locations, serving local and international clients across financial services, technology, consumer products, government and other industries. The firm's culture places emphasis on innovation, inclusiveness, professional development and collaboration across international teams. A Director-level position normally combines technical leadership with client relationship management, commercial responsibility, proposal work and mentoring of senior consultants.
Ireland offers strong opportunities in technology consulting, cloud, cybersecurity, software, financial services, pharmaceuticals and multinational operations, particularly around Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick. The culture is generally friendly, sociable and informal, with strong traditions in music, sport and community life. Dublin provides the widest job market but has high rents and a competitive housing supply; Cork and Galway can offer a quieter lifestyle, while commuting and accommodation should be planned carefully. Ireland has mild, changeable weather and excellent access to countryside, coastlines and European travel. Non-EU/EEA citizens normally need an employment permit and, where applicable, an entry visa. Highly skilled technology professionals may qualify for a Critical Skills Employment Permit, subject to occupation and salary rules; otherwise, a General Employment Permit may apply. Before relocating, confirm sponsorship, permit eligibility, tax, healthcare and housing arrangements with the employer and official Irish immigration authorities.
