DHL is seeking a PTP and NWC Manager to oversee procure-to-pay activities and net working capital performance across the UK and Ireland. Candidates should have strong experience in finance operations, PTP, working capital management and process improvement, together with good knowledge of financial controls and reporting. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills are expected. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, shared-service environments and leading teams or projects would be advantageous. DHL is a global logistics and supply-chain company operating across freight forwarding, express delivery, contract logistics, e-commerce and transport services. It is part of DHL Group and serves customers in more than 220 countries and territories. In the UK and Ireland, DHL employs people across warehouses, transport networks, technology, customer service, engineering and corporate functions such as finance and human resources. The company is known for its international scale, structured career development, operational expertise and focus on service reliability. DHL also places significant emphasis on sustainability, digitalisation, workplace safety and inclusive employment. Its finance teams support a complex organisation with large transaction volumes, regional operations and extensive supplier and customer relationships.
The United Kingdom offers varied opportunities in finance, logistics, technology, healthcare, engineering and professional services, with particularly strong markets in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow. British workplace culture is generally professional, punctual and collaborative, with respect for personal time and clear communication. Lifestyle options range from busy city living to quieter coastal and rural communities, although housing and transport can be expensive in major cities. International applicants normally need the right to work, commonly through a Skilled Worker visa if the employer is an approved sponsor and the role meets salary and occupation requirements. Irish citizens generally have broader work rights under the Common Travel Area. Relocating involves arranging accommodation, a National Insurance number, banking, healthcare registration and tax details. Public transport is extensive, and the UK’s regional airports make travel across Europe convenient.
