The CoPack Production Planner is responsible for coordinating production schedules for DHL’s contract packaging operation, ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and on time. Typical requirements include experience in production planning, manufacturing, co-packing or supply-chain operations; strong organisational and problem-solving skills; confidence using Microsoft Excel and planning or warehouse-management systems; and the ability to analyse demand, capacity, materials and labour availability. The successful candidate is expected to communicate effectively with operations, warehouse, procurement and customer teams, manage changing priorities, maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement. Attention to detail, commercial awareness, health and safety commitment, and the ability to work under deadline pressure are important. Experience in a regulated or high-volume logistics environment would be advantageous.
DHL is a global logistics and supply-chain company operating across freight, warehousing, transport, express delivery and specialist business services. Its DHL Supply Chain division helps organisations manage inventory, fulfilment, contract packaging, manufacturing support and distribution through a network of warehouses, transport operations and technology-enabled facilities. The company serves sectors including retail, consumer goods, healthcare, automotive, technology and engineering. In the United Kingdom, DHL employs a large workforce across logistics centres, transport hubs, offices and customer sites. Its operations place strong emphasis on service quality, safety, compliance, sustainability and continuous improvement. A CoPack Production Planner supports these objectives by helping ensure packaging and production activities are properly scheduled, resourced and delivered to customer requirements.
The United Kingdom offers employment opportunities in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, transport, technology, healthcare, finance and professional services. Major logistics markets include the Midlands, London and the South East, Yorkshire, the North West and Scotland. British workplace culture generally values punctuality, professionalism, clear communication and respect for personal boundaries, while teams are often diverse and collaborative. Lifestyle options range from busy city living to quieter towns and countryside, although housing and transport costs vary considerably. Public healthcare is provided through the NHS, and rail and bus networks connect most populated areas. Visa requirements depend on nationality and immigration status. Non-UK nationals usually need employer sponsorship under an eligible Skilled Worker occupation, while Irish citizens can generally live and work without a visa. Check current UK government rules and DHL’s sponsorship policy before accepting an offer. Relocating may require proof of funds, accommodation, tax registration and a National Insurance number.
