About the employer

Pullman Lombok Merujani Mandalika Beach Resort is an upscale Accor resort located in the Mandalika area of Lombok, Indonesia. Pullman is Accor’s internationally recognised premium hospitality brand, designed for business and leisure travellers seeking energetic, contemporary experiences. The resort combines beachfront accommodation with restaurants, leisure facilities, wellness services and event spaces, serving both international visitors and the growing domestic tourism market. As part of Accor, the property benefits from global operating standards, sustainability initiatives, training programmes and the group’s international reservation and loyalty network. Its location near Mandalika’s beaches, attractions and major events creates opportunities for leaders who can balance resort operations, guest experience, commercial results and community engagement. Employment commonly involves a multicultural workforce and close coordination with regional and corporate Accor teams.

Working in Indonesia

Lombok offers a quieter, more relaxed lifestyle than Bali, with beaches, surfing, hiking and access to the Gili Islands. Tourism, hotels, restaurants, wellness, events and transport provide the strongest employment opportunities, especially around Mandalika, Senggigi, Mataram and the airport. Local culture is predominantly Sasak and Muslim, so respectful dress, modest behaviour and sensitivity during Ramadan are important. Living costs are generally lower than in Bali, although imported goods and accommodation in resort areas can be expensive. International hires normally need employer sponsorship and the appropriate Indonesian work and stay permits; working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Employers may assist with permits, accommodation, meals, medical cover and relocation, but these benefits should be confirmed in writing. Reliable internet is available in main centres, while transport is often easiest by scooter or car. Healthcare and international schooling are more limited than in Bali.
