The General Manager will lead the overall opening and operation of SLS Residences Madrid, overseeing guest experience, residences, hotel services, financial performance, commercial strategy, compliance, and team leadership. Candidates should have substantial experience managing luxury hotels, branded residences, or comparable hospitality operations, ideally in an international or pre-opening environment. Strong commercial, financial, organizational, and people-management skills are essential, together with excellent English and Spanish communication. The successful candidate is expected to build a high-performing team, protect the SLS brand standards, develop owner and stakeholder relationships, drive revenue and profitability, and deliver distinctive, high-quality service. Flexibility, cultural awareness, problem-solving ability, and a hands-on leadership style will be important.
SLS is a luxury lifestyle hospitality brand known for bold design, vibrant restaurants, nightlife, entertainment, and highly personalized service. It operates hotels, residences, restaurants, and destination venues in major cities and resort locations. SLS forms part of Ennismore, a global hospitality and lifestyle company, with Accor as a major strategic partner and shareholder. The brand is positioned for guests and residents seeking an energetic, design-led alternative to traditional luxury hospitality. SLS properties typically combine upscale accommodation with signature dining, social spaces, events, and strong local identity. INFANTAS 40 SLS RESIDENCES Madrid is intended to bring this distinctive concept to the Spanish capital, combining branded residences with elevated services and lifestyle amenities. The General Manager will play a central role in establishing the property’s reputation, operating culture, commercial performance, and relationship with residents, owners, partners, and the wider Madrid community.
Spain’s islands offer varied hospitality opportunities across the Balearic and Canary Islands, particularly in hotels, resorts, restaurants, wellness, entertainment, engineering, and guest services. Mallorca, Ibiza, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, and Fuerteventura attract international visitors and provide seasonal and year-round employment, although senior management roles usually require proven experience and strong Spanish and English. Island culture is relaxed, social, and strongly connected to food, festivals, family life, and outdoor activities. Lifestyle benefits include beaches, sailing, hiking, warm weather, and a slower pace, while challenges include seasonal contracts, higher rents in popular areas, and limited transport on smaller islands. EU, EEA, and Swiss citizens can work without a visa but must register locally. Non-EU nationals generally need an employer-sponsored work permit and residence visa before starting employment. Candidates should confirm accommodation, tax, healthcare, and relocation support directly with the employer.
