About the employer

Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort is a luxury beachfront resort in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, operating under Sofitel, Accor’s French-inspired luxury hospitality brand. The resort combines contemporary design, local Emirati character, refined dining, wellness facilities, pools, and access to the Arabian Gulf. It serves leisure travellers, families, couples, groups, and corporate guests seeking an upscale coastal escape away from the busier centres of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. As part of Accor, the property benefits from an international network, established hospitality standards, global sales channels, loyalty programmes, and career-development opportunities. Employees can expect a multicultural working environment focused on guest satisfaction, brand storytelling, responsible operations, and personalised service. The resort’s location also supports growing tourism and destination-development activity in Ras Al Khaimah.

Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers a varied lifestyle across coastal cities, desert landscapes, and resort destinations. Hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, construction, technology, healthcare, and finance provide strong job opportunities, particularly in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah. UAE culture blends Islamic traditions with a highly international population; modest dress, respect for local customs, and awareness of Ramadan practices are important. Lifestyle options range from beaches, restaurants, and shopping to desert trips, water sports, hiking, and cultural attractions. Most foreign employees require employer-sponsored residence and work visas, with the company usually arranging medical checks, Emirates ID processing, and permits. Candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, flights, gratuity, and probation terms before accepting. Ras Al Khaimah is generally quieter and more affordable than Dubai, while still offering beaches, mountains, and a relaxed resort lifestyle.
