The successful candidate is expected to maintain accurate records, monitor controls, assist with audits, analyse financial performance, support departmental leaders and ensure compliance with Accor policies and legal requirements. Strong communication, organisation, confidentiality and attention to detail are essential. Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, together with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, is highly desirable.

Accor is a global hospitality group with a broad portfolio of hotel, resort and lifestyle brands, including Pullman, Novotel, Mercure, Sofitel and ibis. Australia offers opportunities across hospitality, finance, tourism, healthcare, construction, technology, education and skilled trades. Melbourne has a diverse, multicultural workplace culture, strong arts and sporting scenes, excellent cafés and restaurants, and generally good public transport. The lifestyle combines urban living with beaches, parks, wineries and regional destinations nearby, although housing and daily expenses can be high. Common work pathways include employer-sponsored visas, skilled migration, graduate visas, working holiday visas and student visas with work rights; eligibility depends on occupation, qualifications, age, English ability and current immigration rules. Candidates should verify requirements through the Australian Department of Home Affairs before accepting a role. Relocating typically requires a valid visa, tax file number, bank account, health insurance where appropriate and suitable accommodation. Melbourne’s climate is changeable, and professional accounting experience can be valuable in hotels and other service industries.
