About the employer

OUR HABITAS RAS ABROUQ is a luxury desert resort in Qatar operated under the Habitas hospitality brand and associated with Accor. Located near the striking landscapes of the west coast, the property focuses on nature, wellness, culture and meaningful guest experiences rather than conventional high-rise resort tourism. Its accommodation, dining and activities are designed to connect visitors with the desert environment and local heritage. Habitas properties typically promote community, sustainability, creative programming and personalized service. As part of the Accor network, the resort benefits from international hospitality standards, structured training and global career opportunities. Employees work in a distinctive remote setting and support experiences involving dining, excursions, wellness, events and cultural discovery. The resort is suited to hospitality professionals who enjoy outdoor environments, teamwork and delivering thoughtful service to an international clientele.

Working in Qatar

Qatar is a compact Gulf country rather than an island, with Doha as its main employment and transport hub. Hospitality opportunities are available in hotels, resorts, restaurants, catering, events, aviation and tourism, especially for candidates with English skills and international experience. Life is modern and generally safe, though summer temperatures are extremely high. The culture is welcoming but conservative: modest clothing, respectful behavior and sensitivity during Ramadan are important. Alcohol is restricted to licensed venues, usually within hotels. Employers commonly sponsor work visas and residence permits, arrange medical checks and may provide accommodation, meals, transport and health coverage; employees should confirm these benefits before accepting an offer. A passport, authenticated documents and a formal employment contract may be required. Ras Abrouq is remote, so staff should expect a resort-based lifestyle with limited nearby shopping and entertainment, while Doha offers broader amenities during days off.
