Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers a coastal lifestyle with strong hospitality opportunities, particularly in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and other resort destinations. Jobs are available in hotels, restaurants, tourism, finance, retail, aviation, and events. The culture is multicultural and respectful, with Islamic traditions influencing dress, public behaviour, and holidays. Ras Al Khaimah provides a quieter lifestyle than Dubai, with beaches, mountains, desert activities, and a lower cost of living. Employers commonly sponsor work visas, arrange medical testing and Emirates ID processing, and may provide accommodation, transport, insurance, and meals. New employees should verify contract terms, benefits, probation conditions, and any recruitment fees before relocating. Summers are extremely hot, while winters are pleasant. English is widely used in workplaces, although Arabic is the official language.
