The Butler provides highly personalized service to Sofitel guests throughout their stay, including warm welcomes, luggage assistance, room orientation, unpacking and packing support, dining and transportation arrangements, and prompt handling of special requests. Candidates should have previous experience in luxury hotels, guest relations, front office, or butler service, along with excellent English communication and a polished, discreet manner. Knowledge of additional languages, strong local knowledge, attention to detail, and confidence working with high-profile guests are valuable. The successful candidate is expected to maintain Sofitel service standards, protect guest privacy, coordinate effectively with other departments, and remain flexible during busy periods. This is a six-month mission at Sofitel Dubai The Palm.
Sofitel Dubai The Palm is a luxury beach resort located on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah and operated under Sofitel, Accor’s French-inspired luxury hospitality brand. The resort combines contemporary design with touches of French elegance and offers guest rooms, suites, villas, restaurants, leisure facilities, a private beach, pools, spa services, and family activities. Its clientele includes international leisure travelers, families, couples, and business guests seeking a high-end resort experience. Sofitel emphasizes personalized hospitality, refined presentation, cultural awareness, and attentive service. As part of Accor, employees may benefit from structured training, global career opportunities, staff rates, and international hospitality standards. Butler roles at the resort typically work closely with front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, concierge, and guest relations teams to deliver seamless service.
The United Arab Emirates is a modern Gulf destination with strong opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, tourism, retail, aviation, and events. Dubai offers an international lifestyle, excellent infrastructure, beaches, shopping, dining, and year-round hospitality employment, although rent and daily expenses can be high. The culture is multicultural but shaped by Islamic traditions, so modest dress in public areas, respectful behavior, and awareness of Ramadan customs are important. Summers are extremely hot, while winters are comfortable and popular with visitors. Employers commonly sponsor work visas for overseas hospitality staff; employees should not work on a tourist visa. Packages may include accommodation, meals, transport, medical cover, and annual leave. Before relocating, confirm the written contract, salary, benefits, working hours, visa sponsorship, probation terms, and airport or accommodation arrangements.
