Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island nation, but it offers a diverse lifestyle across cities, coastlines, and resort destinations. Hospitality is a major employer, with opportunities in luxury hotels, restaurants, tourism, events, aviation, and wellness, especially in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a highly international expatriate community; respectful dress and behavior, awareness of Islamic customs, and responsible conduct are important. Lifestyle options range from beaches, shopping, desert activities, and watersports to museums and vibrant dining scenes. Employees normally require employer-sponsored residence and work visas, with medical checks and official documentation completed after an offer. Relocating candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, leave, flights, and probation terms before arrival. Summers are extremely hot, while winters are comfortable and popular for outdoor activities.
