The company is known for warm Asian hospitality, high service standards and premium guest experiences. Shangri-La hotels commonly offer extensive dining, wellness, events and business facilities, with a strong emphasis on culinary quality and personalised service. The group operates several properties in Hong Kong and maintains a substantial presence in the region. Working in Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a compact, energetic destination with strong opportunities in luxury hotels, restaurants, clubs, catering, retail and international business. Its food culture is exceptionally diverse, combining Cantonese traditions with influences from across China and the world. Life is fast-paced, highly connected and convenient, with excellent public transport, extensive shopping and vibrant neighbourhoods. Housing can be expensive, especially on Hong Kong Island and in Kowloon, though areas in the New Territories may offer better value. Overseas professionals generally need an employment visa sponsored by their employer; the company normally submits the application and supports required documentation. A valid passport, signed employment contract, qualifications and relevant experience are typically required. New arrivals should budget for rent, deposits, transport and healthcare, and check current Immigration Department rules before relocating.
