The Manager, Loyalty CRM is responsible for developing and improving customer loyalty and lifecycle marketing programs for Carnival Cruise Line. Requirements typically include a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, along with several years of experience in CRM, loyalty marketing, customer engagement, or marketing automation. Strong analytical, project management, communication, and presentation skills are expected. Experience with customer databases, segmentation, campaign testing, personalization, email marketing, and platforms such as Salesforce or similar CRM tools is valuable. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with marketing, technology, sales, digital, and commercial teams to increase repeat bookings, customer retention, engagement, and lifetime value.
Carnival Cruise Line is one of the world's best-known cruise brands and a major member of Carnival Corporation & plc. Headquartered in Miami, Florida, the company operates a large fleet serving destinations across the Caribbean, Mexico, Alaska, Europe, The Bahamas, and other popular cruise regions. Carnival is known for offering casual, energetic vacations centered on entertainment, dining, family activities, recreation, and approachable service. Its business includes ship operations, travel sales, onboard revenue, loyalty programs, digital platforms, and guest experience management. The company employs both shoreside professionals and shipboard teams in areas such as hospitality, marine operations, technology, marketing, finance, and customer service. Carnival promotes teamwork, innovation, inclusion, and creating memorable experiences for millions of guests each year.
A cruise-based career can provide opportunities in guest services, food and beverage, housekeeping, entertainment, retail, marine operations, safety, technology, and management. Life onboard is multicultural and fast-paced, with long working hours, shared accommodation, structured routines, and limited personal space, but employees often receive meals, accommodation, travel between destinations, and access to ship facilities during free time. Ships commonly visit Caribbean islands such as Nassau, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, St. Thomas, and Cozumel, where local culture includes music, seafood, festivals, markets, beaches, and strong tourism communities. Shipboard employees generally need a valid passport, medical clearance, background checks, safety training, and a maritime crew visa such as the U.S. C1/D visa when required. Relocation is usually to a home port rather than a permanent island; this CRM position is more likely based in Miami and may require U.S. work authorization.
