The culture is generally informal, direct and team-oriented, with emphasis on workplace safety, work-life balance and practical problem-solving. Lifestyle varies from major-city living to coastal communities and regional areas, with excellent beaches, outdoor activities and diverse food and cultural scenes. Skilled professionals may explore employer-sponsored visas, including the Skills in Demand visa, or permanent skilled migration pathways, depending on occupation, qualifications, experience and points.
