The Senior Executive – Business Analyst is expected to understand business needs, document requirements, analyse processes and translate them into practical technology or operational solutions. Responsibilities may include stakeholder interviews, business process mapping, preparing functional specifications, coordinating with development and implementation teams, supporting testing, resolving issues and monitoring delivered solutions. Candidates would typically need a degree in business, information systems, computer science or a related field, together with several years of business analysis or project experience. Strong analytical, communication, presentation and problem-solving skills are important. Experience with process improvement, ERP or enterprise applications, Agile methods, data analysis and requirements-management tools would be advantageous. The candidate should be organised, commercially aware and comfortable working with teams across MAS Holdings and its international operations.
MAS Holdings is one of South Asia’s leading apparel and textile manufacturers, headquartered in Sri Lanka. Founded in 1987, the group works with internationally recognised fashion and sportswear brands and operates across design, product development, manufacturing, supply chain and technology. MAS is known for innovation, ethical manufacturing, sustainability and developing advanced clothing solutions, including sportswear, intimate apparel and performance products. Its business includes facilities and partnerships across several countries, supported by a large regional workforce. The company places strong emphasis on responsible production, employee development, diversity and community impact. Working at MAS can provide exposure to global customers, cross-functional projects and modern manufacturing and business systems. Exact duties, benefits and reporting arrangements for this position should be confirmed through the official vacancy and recruitment team.
Sri Lanka offers opportunities in apparel and manufacturing, information technology, finance, tourism, logistics, engineering and shared services. Colombo is the main commercial centre and provides the broadest professional market, while Kandy, Galle and regional industrial zones offer additional opportunities. The culture combines South Asian traditions with strong hospitality, diverse religions and four official or widely used languages, including Sinhala, Tamil and English. Living costs are generally lower than in many major international cities, though housing in Colombo is comparatively expensive. The island provides beaches, hill country, wildlife parks and historic sites, with a tropical climate and good domestic travel options. Foreign employees normally need an employment or residence visa sponsored or supported by the employer; entering on a tourist visa does not permit employment. Candidates should confirm eligibility, documentation, tax, healthcare and relocation assistance with MAS and Sri Lankan authorities before moving.
