The Manager/Senior Manager, Digital Acquisition will lead digital marketing and customer acquisition initiatives for Shangri-La. The role typically requires a degree in marketing, business, communications or a related discipline, along with substantial experience in performance marketing, digital campaigns, search, social media, analytics and conversion optimisation. Experience in hospitality, luxury brands, e-commerce or multi-market marketing is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to develop acquisition strategies, manage agency and media relationships, monitor budgets and return on investment, and use data to improve customer growth. Strong communication, project management, commercial awareness and analytical skills are essential, together with the ability to work across regional and local teams.
Shangri-La is a luxury hospitality group headquartered in Hong Kong, operating hotels, resorts and related hospitality businesses across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America and other international markets. The group is recognised for its Asian-inspired service philosophy, premium accommodation, restaurants, meeting facilities and resort experiences. Its portfolio includes the Shangri-La, Kerry, JEN and Traders brands, serving business and leisure travellers in major cities and resort destinations. Shangri-La places strong emphasis on personalised guest service, colleague development, sustainability and long-term relationships with customers and business partners. A regional digital acquisition role would support the company’s efforts to strengthen direct bookings, loyalty engagement, brand visibility and online revenue across competitive hospitality markets.
Hong Kong offers strong opportunities in hospitality, digital marketing, finance, technology, retail, aviation and professional services. Its international business environment, efficient transport network and diverse food scene attract professionals from around the world. The lifestyle is energetic and convenient, with dense urban neighbourhoods, excellent public transport, shopping, nightlife and easy access to beaches, hiking trails and outlying islands. Cantonese is widely spoken, while English is common in business and tourism. Foreign professionals generally need an employment visa sponsored by a Hong Kong employer, with approval based on qualifications, relevant experience and the availability of a genuine position. Employers often assist with visa applications, relocation guidance and sometimes housing support, although accommodation can be expensive. Candidates should budget carefully for rent, deposits, healthcare, transport and daily expenses. Hong Kong’s subtropical climate includes hot, humid summers and cooler winters.
