About the employer

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts is a Hong Kong-founded luxury hospitality group operating hotels, resorts, and residences across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, and other international markets. The company is recognized for personalized service, strong Asian hospitality values, and premium properties serving business and leisure travelers. Its Hong Kong portfolio includes well-known luxury hotels such as Island Shangri-La, Kowloon Shangri-La, and Kerry Hotel. Shangri-La places emphasis on guest satisfaction, service excellence, professional development, and responsible business practices. Employees typically work in a multicultural environment with structured hotel operations and opportunities to build careers across finance, rooms, food and beverage, events, and corporate functions. An Income Auditor would support accurate revenue reporting and financial control, working closely with operational departments, finance colleagues, and management.

Working in Hong Kong

Hong Kong offers strong opportunities in luxury hotels, finance, retail, technology, logistics, aviation, and international business. Its culture blends Cantonese traditions with global influences, reflected in food, festivals, family life, and a fast-paced professional environment. Lifestyle options range from dense urban neighborhoods and excellent restaurants to hiking trails, beaches, islands, and vibrant nightlife. Public transport is efficient, and most residents use the MTR, buses, ferries, and taxis rather than owning a car. Foreign professionals generally need an employment visa sponsored by a Hong Kong employer, with approval based on qualifications, a genuine job offer, and suitable salary and experience. Employers often assist with documentation, while candidates should budget carefully for accommodation, deposits, healthcare, and daily expenses. Relocation is convenient but housing is expensive, so researching districts and commuting times is important.
