Engineering colleagues help protect the comfort, safety, and reliability of the guest experience by maintaining essential systems and responding promptly to operational issues.

Working in Hong Kong

Hong Kong offers strong opportunities in hospitality, engineering, facilities management, finance, technology, retail, and international business. Hotel engineering roles are concentrated on Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and major resort areas, with demand for workers experienced in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems. Life is fast-paced, highly connected, and convenient, with excellent public transport, diverse food, shopping, hiking trails, beaches, and a vibrant international culture. Accommodation is expensive, especially in central districts, so many employees live in Kowloon or the New Territories and commute by MTR. Foreign nationals generally need an employment visa sponsored by a Hong Kong employer; applications usually require a confirmed job, relevant qualifications or experience, and proof that the role cannot easily be filled locally. Dependants may qualify for accompanying visas. Candidates should confirm current immigration, employment, and housing requirements before relocating.
