About the employer

The resort serves leisure travellers, couples, families, groups and corporate clients from international markets. Sales and marketing roles support the resort’s positioning, partnerships, campaigns, reservations and revenue performance in a competitive luxury travel market.

Working in Mauritius

Mauritius offers opportunities in luxury hotels, tourism, food and beverage, aviation, finance, technology, healthcare and education. The island has a multicultural society influenced by Indian, African, European and Chinese heritage, with English and French widely used alongside Mauritian Creole. Life combines a relaxed coastal pace with busy commercial centres such as Port Louis, Grand Baie and Ebene. Residents enjoy beaches, hiking, water sports, markets and a varied food scene, although imported goods and housing in popular areas can be expensive. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored work permit or Occupation Permit; working on a tourist entry is not permitted. Employers usually guide applicants through the process, which may require qualifications, a contract, medical checks and supporting documents. Before relocating, confirm accommodation, transport, healthcare, tax, insurance and whether meals, service charge or other resort benefits are included.
