Shangri-La Group is a luxury hospitality company headquartered in Hong Kong, operating hotels, resorts and related properties across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America and other international markets. Its portfolio includes the Shangri-La, Kerry, JEN and Traders brands. Shangri-La is recognised for personalised service, Asian hospitality and high-quality guest experiences, with properties serving leisure travellers, business guests, families and event clients. Shangri-La Singapore is a well-established luxury hotel set in extensive landscaped grounds near Orchard Road. The property offers accommodation, restaurants, wellness facilities, meeting spaces and event services. Marketing employees typically work across brand campaigns, hotel promotions, digital channels, guest communications and commercial partnerships, coordinating closely with operations, revenue, sales and public relations teams.
Singapore is a compact, modern island city with strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, technology, finance, retail and digital marketing. English is widely used at work, while Mandarin, Malay and Tamil are also common. The culture is multicultural, efficient and generally professional, with excellent public transport, reliable infrastructure, safe neighbourhoods and a wide range of food and entertainment. Housing can be expensive, especially near central districts, although public transport makes commuting from areas such as Queenstown, Tiong Bahru, Bishan or Tampines practical. Foreign professionals normally need employer sponsorship for an Employment Pass or S Pass, subject to salary, qualifications and Ministry of Manpower requirements. Candidates should secure a written offer before relocating and confirm whether the employer provides relocation support, medical coverage or temporary accommodation. Singapore’s warm, humid climate and fast-paced lifestyle suit people seeking international career exposure.
