The Cluster Analytics Manager supports multiple Marriott properties by turning hotel performance data into practical commercial recommendations. Requirements typically include a degree or equivalent experience in hospitality, business, finance, revenue management, analytics, or a related field; strong Excel and reporting skills; and experience with hotel systems, forecasting, budgeting, and market analysis. Familiarity with Marriott systems and business intelligence tools is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to monitor demand, occupancy, room rates, revenue trends, and competitive performance, prepare accurate reports, identify opportunities for profit improvement, and communicate insights clearly to senior leaders and property teams. Strong organisation, attention to detail, commercial judgement, stakeholder management, and the ability to work across several hotels are essential.
Marriott International is one of the world's largest hospitality companies, operating a broad portfolio of hotels and resorts across numerous brands and destinations. Its properties include luxury, premium, select-service, and extended-stay accommodation, supported by the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme. Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay is a prominent Marriott property in Sydney, positioned near Circular Quay, the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, transport links, restaurants, and major attractions. The hotel serves leisure travellers, corporate guests, groups, and events. Marriott promotes service excellence, professional development, inclusion, responsible business practices, and internal career mobility. A cluster role may work with several properties, providing analysis and commercial support across the group while collaborating with revenue, sales, finance, rooms, and general management teams.
Australia offers strong opportunities in hotels, tourism, restaurants, events, healthcare, construction, technology, and professional services, especially in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and regional tourism centres. The culture is generally informal, multicultural, outdoors-oriented, and focused on work-life balance, although hospitality roles can involve weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts. Lifestyle costs vary considerably; Sydney and Melbourne are expensive, particularly for housing, while regional areas may be more affordable. Common work options include employer-sponsored visas, skilled visas, working holiday visas, and student visas with work rights, subject to occupation lists and current immigration rules. Relocating usually requires a valid visa, tax file number, bank account, health insurance where applicable, and suitable accommodation. Australia is vast, so transport and climate differ greatly between regions. Check official Home Affairs guidance and employer sponsorship details before accepting an offer.
