About the employer

Located on Seven Mile Beach, the resort combines elegant accommodation with fine dining, spa services, meeting facilities, water activities, and golf-related experiences. The Ritz-Carlton brand is known for highly personalized service, polished surroundings, and strong attention to guest comfort and detail. Employees work in an international environment serving leisure travelers, families, groups, and affluent vacationers. Benefits and conditions vary by position and employment status, but hospitality roles may include staff meals, uniforms, training, discounts, transportation assistance, or accommodation support where available. Working in Cayman Islands

The Cayman Islands offer employment opportunities in tourism, hospitality, finance, retail, construction, healthcare, and professional services. The culture is friendly and multicultural, with strong Caymanian traditions alongside a large expatriate community. Life is relaxed and centered on beaches, boating, diving, watersports, dining, and outdoor activities, although living costs—especially rent, groceries, and transportation—are high. Most international workers need a work permit sponsored by an approved employer before starting work; permits are normally tied to the specific role and company. Employers commonly manage the application process, while candidates must provide documents such as a passport, police clearance, medical information, and references. Relocating workers should confirm accommodation, airfare, insurance, contract length, and return-trip arrangements before accepting an offer. Public transportation is available, but many residents use cars or scooters. The climate is warm year-round, with a wetter hurricane season generally from June through November.
