The Bintan resort serves holidaymakers, families, corporate guests, groups and events, with its coastal setting and access to the island’s beaches and recreational attractions. Marriott International is one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, operating a broad portfolio of global hotel brands and providing structured training, international career mobility and established commercial systems. Working in Indonesia

Bintan is an Indonesian island in the Riau Archipelago, known for beaches, resorts, golf, water activities and a relaxed coastal lifestyle. Lagoi is the main integrated resort area and is connected to Singapore by regular ferry services, making it attractive for regional tourism and hospitality careers. Job opportunities are strongest in hotels, restaurants, events, recreation, transport and resort sales, although knowledge of Indonesian and English is highly valuable. Local culture blends Malay traditions with Indonesian influences; modest dress, politeness and respect for religious customs are appreciated. Living costs vary, with resort areas generally more expensive than towns such as Tanjung Pinang. Foreign employees normally need employer sponsorship, an appropriate work permit and a limited-stay visa or KITAS before starting work. Candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, health insurance, tax treatment and relocation assistance in the employment offer.
