The role typically requires a bachelor’s degree, several years of recruitment operations or talent acquisition experience, strong knowledge of recruiting systems and Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, and careful attention to detail. Candidates are expected to manage competing priorities, protect confidential information, resolve operational issues, analyze recruitment data, and provide reliable service across different markets and time zones. Experience with applicant tracking systems, recruitment process outsourcing, shared-service environments, or supervising junior colleagues is advantageous.
EY, formerly Ernst & Young, is a global professional services organization providing assurance, consulting, strategy and transactions, and tax services. It operates across more than 150 countries and territories, helping companies, governments, and institutions respond to business, technology, regulatory, and workforce challenges. EY employs a large international workforce and uses shared service and global delivery centers to support its practices worldwide. The Philippines is an important location for EY’s regional operations, with offices and talent hubs supporting finance, technology, consulting, tax, assurance, and recruitment activities. EY promotes professional development, teamwork, inclusion, and opportunities to work with international colleagues. Its Taguig operations are based in Metro Manila’s major business district, where employees commonly support global stakeholders and may work in hybrid, shifting, or internationally aligned schedules.
The Philippines offers employment opportunities in business services, IT, software development, finance, healthcare, education, tourism, engineering, and multinational shared-service centers. Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao are the main professional hubs, while islands such as Palawan, Boracay, Siargao, and Bohol are popular for beaches and outdoor living. Filipino culture is generally warm, family-oriented, English-friendly, and strongly influenced by Spanish, American, and Asian traditions. Living costs vary: Manila provides more career options but has traffic and higher rents, while Cebu and provincial cities can offer a more relaxed lifestyle. Foreign employees usually need an employer-sponsored work visa, commonly a 9(g) work visa, and appropriate immigration registration. Short visits may be visa-exempt for eligible nationalities, but visitors cannot work without authorization. Relocating employees should arrange employment documents, housing, health insurance, and tax registration before arrival.
