Requirements generally include previous hotel or restaurant service experience, good English communication skills, a professional appearance, basic food-safety knowledge and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. The successful candidate should be guest-focused, attentive to detail and comfortable taking orders, operating service equipment, setting up trays or trolleys, processing payments and clearing used items. Marriott Hotel Al Forsan Abu Dhabi is part of Marriott International, one of the world's largest hospitality companies. The property is located in Abu Dhabi's Al Forsan area, a destination known for sports, leisure and large-scale events. Marriott hotels are recognised for structured service standards, international guest profiles and career development opportunities across rooms, food and beverage, events and hotel operations. In this role, employees typically work within a multicultural team and follow Marriott procedures for guest service, hygiene, order accuracy and workplace conduct. Benefits and employment conditions vary according to the contract and local policy, but hospitality positions in the UAE commonly include accommodation or an allowance, meals, transportation, medical coverage and annual leave. Marriott also provides access to global training and potential mobility within its hotel network.
The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it is a popular Gulf destination offering extensive opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, aviation, retail, events and customer service. Abu Dhabi provides a modern, multicultural lifestyle with beaches, shopping centres, cultural attractions and desert activities. Arabic is the official language, while English is widely used at work. Social life is generally international, although local customs, modest public behaviour and religious practices should be respected. Summers are extremely hot, so indoor facilities and air-conditioned transport are central to daily life. Employers normally sponsor a work visa, residence permit and medical checks after hiring; candidates should not work on a tourist visa. Confirm accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, leave, probation and contract fees before relocating. Keep original documents secure, budget for initial expenses and check the UAE employment offer through official channels.
