Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers coastal city living, beaches and resort destinations across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. Hospitality creates regular opportunities in housekeeping, food and beverage, front office, engineering, wellness and events. UAE culture combines Emirati traditions with a large international population; modest dress, respectful behaviour and awareness of Islamic customs are important. Lifestyle options include shopping, dining, desert excursions, water sports and cultural attractions, although summers are extremely hot. Employers commonly sponsor work visas, arrange medical testing and provide an Emirates ID after hiring. Hotel packages may include accommodation, meals, transport, insurance and annual flights. Candidates should confirm contract terms, working hours, gratuity, accommodation and visa sponsorship before relocating. Sharjah is generally more conservative and family-oriented than Dubai, while Dubai is nearby for broader entertainment and employment options.
