Working in United Kingdom

The United Kingdom is an island country with varied job opportunities in healthcare, technology, engineering, education, finance, hospitality and logistics. NHS roles are available across cities, towns and rural communities, although competition and local living costs vary. British culture is generally polite, diverse and community-minded, with strong traditions in sport, music, history and public service. Lifestyle options range from busy urban living to quieter coastal and countryside communities. Housing and transport costs are highest in London and parts of southern England; Wales, northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland can be more affordable. International applicants need permission to work. Some NHS positions may qualify for a Health and Care Worker visa, but eligibility depends on the occupation code, salary and current immigration rules; support-worker roles are not automatically eligible.
