Working in United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers a highly international lifestyle across cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with beaches, desert landscapes, shopping, dining, and excellent transport links. Hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, events, and business services provide substantial employment opportunities, especially for candidates with strong English and customer-service skills. UAE workplaces are multicultural, professional, and influenced by Islamic customs; modest dress, respect for local traditions, and awareness during Ramadan are important. Dubai is modern and lively but can be expensive, particularly for accommodation. Employers commonly sponsor work visas for eligible full-time employees, while interns must confirm whether the hotel, university, or placement provider handles visa arrangements. Candidates should verify accommodation, meals, insurance, transport, stipend, and visa conditions before relocating.
