Requirements typically include previous experience as a bartender or mixologist in a luxury hotel, resort, restaurant or high-volume events environment; strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine and beverage service; and good English communication skills. The successful candidate is expected to deliver creative, accurate and timely service, maintain excellent presentation and hygiene standards, manage bar stock and equipment, follow responsible alcohol-service procedures, and work flexibly across shifts, weekends and busy event periods. A confident, guest-focused personality and the ability to work effectively within a multicultural team are important.
W Dubai – Mina Seyahi is a luxury lifestyle hotel located on Dubai’s Mina Seyahi beachfront and operated under the W Hotels brand, part of Marriott International. W Hotels is known for energetic design, contemporary dining, vibrant nightlife, music-led experiences and personalized, highly engaging service. The property combines stylish guest rooms and suites with restaurants, bars, event spaces, leisure facilities and access to Dubai’s coastline. Its banquet and events operation serves celebrations, corporate gatherings and large-scale social occasions, creating a fast-paced environment for hospitality professionals. Employees work within Marriott’s international standards while delivering W’s distinctive, confident and unconventional service style. The hotel offers opportunities to develop beverage, events and luxury-hospitality skills in one of the region’s most active tourism and business destinations.
The United Arab Emirates is a federation of seven emirates rather than an island, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the largest hospitality job markets. Opportunities are common in hotels, restaurants, bars, events, tourism, retail and aviation, especially for candidates with international experience and strong English. UAE culture blends Emirati traditions with communities from around the world; modest dress and respectful behavior are expected in public and during Ramadan. Dubai offers beaches, shopping, nightlife, desert activities and a modern urban lifestyle, although rent and transport can be expensive. Most overseas employees need employer-sponsored residence and work visas; the employer normally arranges medical testing, Emirates ID processing and labor authorization. Candidates should confirm salary, service charge, accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, leave and air-ticket benefits before accepting an offer. Alcohol service is regulated and generally limited to licensed venues.
